Our Livestock Guardians
Our Farm and our Livestock is our livelihood. Additional to alarm system and electric fence, we have 3 really awesome dogs taking care of our property.
Buddy and Lila mainly take care of everything outside the pens and barns while Maya is rooming with the goats and chickens to keep them save.
So far, we never lost an animal to a predator.
Maya
Maya is a Great Pyrenees / Kangal cross.
She loves her goats and takes good care of them.
Lila
Lila and her brother Buddy are German Shepard cross.
Buddy
Buddy is Lila's brother
Jacko
Jacko is Kangal, Maremma cross. He was born in Sept. 2023.
He roams the bush with Maya, the Goats and the Chickens.
Trixi
Trixi is Kangal, Maremma and Pyrenees cross. She was born 12 October 2024.
She will be guarding our Goats and Chickens with her parents Maya and Jacko.
